Keystone Slurry Valves, Resilient Seated

The ceramic coating of F990's 316 S/S disc stems was developed to extend disc life and reduce costly down time. The coating is designed for light to medium slurries and has a limited acidic resistance. pH range - pH3 to pH11.

Features & Benefits:

  • The ceramic coating is a coating and not a sealant. Therefore consideration of applications which involve pH levels outside the range of 3 to 9 must be addressed to Keystone.
  • The maximum temperature rating of the valve arrangement may be less than that for the component detailed above. Refer to the F990 literature sheet for specific pressure/temperature ratings of the valve assembly.

  • Color:  Dark Green
  • General Temperature Range: Minus 20°C to 360°C. Thermal shock resistance to 250°C
  • Abrasion Resistance:  Equal to 2800 Vickers in sliding wear
  • Applied Thickness:  20-30 microns
  • Bonding Strength:  Greater than 66,000 kPa
  • Hardness:  1850 Vickers maximum
  • Basic Composition:  Chromia, Silica, Alumina
  • Size Range: 50mm to 300mm
